David Green OBE, Energy Advisor

David is a highly respected energy efficiency expert who provides strategic counsel to clients in the energy sector and also co-Chairs the Heat and Building Business Council for NorthPoint Strategy. With an MBE and OBE for public service, David is globally recognised for his extensive experience and expertise in the field.

As the founder of the UK Business Council for Sustainable Energy, the co-founder of National Energy Action (NEA) and the former leader of the Australian Clean Energy Council, David has played a pivotal role in advancing sustainable energy policies across numerous jurisdictions. He has served as a commissioner for the Local Government Association's Climate Change Commission, chaired the Greater London Council's Energy and Employment Network, and co-chaired the Australian Federal Government's Ministerial Advisory Group on the Emissions Reduction Fund.

David recently advised the Northern Ireland Government on its new low-carbon energy strategy, playing a pivotal role in shaping their sustainable energy policy.

Currently, he chairs Warmworks Scotland, the UK's largest home retrofit programme and is Chair of the Board of the All-Party Parliamentary Sustainable Energy Group (PRASEG), a cross-party group of MPs and Lords committed to advancing the scale and quality of debate driving the energy transition.
